| THE PAST... AS GOOD AS GONE... | ||
| EMGN never started off as EMGN. With every other website, there is a foundation... a place where one must begin and build up. So before there was EMGN, there was MSJ Gaming.  MSJ Gaming started off as just another Wetpaint site created by just another user. Madusha (Creator and President of MSJ and EMGN) wanted to create a site that shared his interests with others. It wasn't well known, and it sure wasn't what it is today, but he kept working at it. The features today for Wetpaint were not yet developed, so Wetpaint sites just didn't have that "buzz" like they do today. Over the years, MSJ grew more and more, along with the collection of features Wetpaint released to the public. As Wetpaint grew bigger, so did MSJ. As time grew, the infamous MSJ creator came to be one of the top wiki developers on Wetpaint to make a quality website, and it showed. Madusha wanted MSJ to be known for its friendly and helpful service, so he came up with an idea to help out others to help make Wetpaint EVEN better. So Madusha began the time-consuming process of editing many sites to not only make Wetpaint better, but to help out every user of it. As 2007 came, we began to grow, not only in page size, but in overall visits. By the late months of 2007, a new addition arrived at MSJ beginning the breakthrough to its great success. A change that would revolutionize MSJ, and in time, most of Wetpaint. WORLDwiki, and the WORLDnetwork came up upon MSJ, and joined the site with commitment to make a community far beyond anything else. | ||
| A CHANGE FOR THE GOOD... | ||
| In the final month of 2007 till the month after in 2008, The WORLDnetwork was always building and presenting its community features to prosper along with MSJ. The WORLDnetwork continued to strive with enabling users to connect worldwide together in an enjoyable manner. As time grew on, The WORLDnetwork began having problems with connections and community features. The reason: The WORLDnetwork was running on a different site and network, so every edit would have to happen twice, meaning more copying, more re-formatting, and overall, a less enjoyable experience. After a few surveys for users of the site, MSJ and The WORLDnetwork discovered that the community features were just not working (page layouts were too big on one site, etc.). After this discovery, WORLDwiki decided that The WORLDnetwork should not be available anymore, bringing the cancellation of the community features that added to the gaming experience at MSJ. Of course, changes usually mean for the better, and in this case meant The WORLDnetwork features were to be owned by MSJ, meaning better connection, and the up-bringing and beginning of EMGN and The EMGN Nation. | ||
| BEYOND... WHERE ONE WILL STAND OUT. | ||
| After the release to the public that The WORLDnetwork was now owned by MSJ, another suggestion was brought to the table. Ever since MSJ was created, Madusha had a plan to not only make a wiki like this on Wetpaint, but make a REAL HTML website. He had waited almost 2 years for the perfect time to take this step, and after the constant visiting of guests and the growing collection of gaming information done by moderators, Madusha decided it was time. In March 2008, Madusha and WESC (WORLDwiki's new account) decided that the name MSJ just didn't fit the ideas they wanted to establish with the new site. They not only wanted to continue bringing gaming information to the public, but they also wanted to supply information on Electronics and Movies. Development of this new HTML site had begun in March, but the public was unaware of this action. Later on, Madusha and WESC finally decided a name; EMGN (Electronic, Movie & Gaming Network) was to be there new name, tossing MSJ into the trash to be only remembered in history. They also released EMGN and the HTML website news to the public, which started an explosion of excitement. Now, EMGN is released to the public, always growing and building. Along with this, The EMGN Nation (the site your on RIGHT NOW) is the community centre for EMGN, supplying the community features to the public and allowing users to add Electronic, Movie and Gaming information to the OFFICIAL HTML website. As we continue through 2008 and on, we look back and see that we have started from nothing, struggling to make the site popular. We look back noticing all the help we contributed to others sites, and the continued support we give to supporters. As 2008 and on continue, we keep ours eyes straight and only think about one thing... accomplishing more than we have today. In 2008 and on, we will go somewhere where only one will stand out... BEYOND... and we invite you along with us! | ||
| As we continue on from this day, we look back and see how far we've come. From when we started from nothing but only a small Wetpaint site, to the great additions throughout, to the present we are at now, MSJ and EMGN will always be here, because to let go now would be letting go our constant dreams to making this site alongside top worldwide companies like IGN and Gamespot. We look back noticing all the help we contributed to others sites, and the continued support we give to willing sites. As we continue, we keep ours eyes "on the ball" and only think about one thing... accomplishing more than we have today. In the future, we will go somewhere where only one will stand out... BEYOND... and we invite you all along with us! | ||

Well Done (clapping) i remember when i joined wetpaint in April, this was my 2nd site i joined!! The 1st one i made, it was a disaster!!!!!!
